So I started a project to fix up our bedroom with a little more color. I've always wanted to have an upholstered headboard. And I have been tempted to try to make one, but didn't know if I could do it. So, it all started with this sign that I bought from my friend who is moving. This sign then made for a few projects...a headboard, painting, some pillows....yadda yadda, some fun shopping.
Everything isn't done yet, I still have to hang the picture frame and move a few things around, but here is the headboard! It was so easy and I am a little bit obsessed with it!
The texture of the fabric is awesome. 
I also bought these blue pillows that matched and even have a little bit of damask on them
Then I saw this at TJ MAX for like $6! I had to get it!
I still have a few more touches to add, but I love it so far! Thanks to my friend Liz who helped me pick everything out, shes amazing at decorating!
I think it turned out great! I'm so happy with it!
