Coming Home!

Well, we are finally going to make a move to go HOME to God's Country of TEXAS! It's only for a short time of 5 months, but it is still wonderful! In April and through the summer, Justin and I will be moving to not our home town of San Antonio, but this time to one of my personal favorites, DALLAS! Dallas is where we would love to settle one day maybe, so i cannot wait to go! Justin will be selling Pest Control for my Brother Preston's business, SafeHome Pest Control. I will be working in the office full time as well. Justin and I have been thinking about this decision and feel that this is the best thing for our family at this time. We need to make some money, because living in Rexburg is killing us financially because there are no jobs that pay above minimum wage. Justin will do so well selling, I just know it. We both are so excited to get away from Rexburg and be closer to family, and in a place that we both love so much!

I cannot wait to live close to my sister and her adorable family! I also am so excited for the SHOPPING! Dallas has some of the best shopping, and I will most deff take full advantage of that! I'm also so excited to try all of the fun restaurants in Dallas, they have tons! And of course I can't wait to live in a place where there is a pool every where and guarantee that I will be getting a nice tan, unlike Rexburg!
Justin and I will be back in Rexburg for the fall semester for Justin. (I'll be graduating this December) But to get out of Rexburg for a few months will be so nice! I am so excited for this upcoming journey that we are about to embark on, and feel so blessed to have an opportunity such as this to grow as a couple and make many more memories!

Peterson Family + 2

I know, i know, I've been gone fore awhile. And the reason is typical, but honest Justin and I have never been busier since we've been married. Everytime we both come home exhausted, stressed, and just pure wiped out.

I am student teaching, and it is a full time job without the pay.

It's not easy, time consuming, stressful, and a lot of work.

But, it is also very rewarding when my students tell me I'm their favorite teacher or that my class is their favorite class to come to. Then it's worth it. I teach:

5 health classes

1 Freshman P.E. Class

1 Fitness Training Class

Everyday I come home so tired and the work never ends. But the END is near! I only have one more month and I am counting down each week.

Justin is just as busy taking 14 credits and working 20 hours a week. He hates his job at the call center, but its a job and we are grateful.
Bless the guys heart, he never coimplains and just does what it takes to support a family, and he is doing really well in school.

That man is a trooper. He is my man.

On top of being busy, we have had guests in town for the past 4 weekends at our house....no big deal. (yea right......)

It's been crazy. Justin and I find ourselves on Friday night at 10 pm cleaning our house for our house guests before then come.

Life is crazy, but its good and we are blessed. I find myself never being able to get ahead because something always pops up. But we are blessed and I only have 1 more month.

Me, Justin and My two sisters went down to Conference and had floor seats to EVERY session. (thanks to my rockin sister Elyse) It was so wonderful listening to a prophets voice to receive guidence and truth. We are blessed.

Another thing we did was Puppy sit our friends the TUTTLES little love, Cooper. This puppy is by far the cutest puppy I have ever seen. This was great birth control for Justin and I because it made us realize we really aren't ready for kids yet. ( not until we make it back to South Africa) But it was still really fun, and Justin and I learned a lot about ourselves and as a couple.

The Hubby loved cuddling with cooper. He really loved when he slept in bed with us! And Now for the Exciting News in the Peterson home! ( My family)My family is growing, and fast! And I love it! Our family just grew by 1, and almost 2!Welcome my adorable, chubby, juicy, nephew BRADY PARSON!

I already love this little boy.

Once again, my sister and brothin in law made another beautiful baby. Their 4 for 4!

And now on JANUARY 7, 2012 the Peterson family will grow again by 1! This time by a new SISTER IN LAW! ( and the last sister in law in this family) My brother BLAIR is ENGAGED to a beautiful girl inside and out! Her name is Camille and I love this girl so much. They are perfect for eachother and I am so happy for them to be a family of their own. Cami is so wonderful and a great addition to our family. I already love her like a sister! Congrats! I can't wait for another Peterson wedding!

How good looking are they? Love it!

This Weekend

This weekend was a great one to end summer- I officially start school for student teaching on Monday....
So Justin and I played a lot on our last summer weekend.
Friday-Date Night with another couple.
Sat: We went to a ward activity of WATER KICKBALL and a PICNIC. It was really fun!
Then, We went with two other couples to "Falls Creek" and hiked down a WATERFALL! This is the actual waterfall we hiked. Hiking up and down a waterfall is on my bucket list, and I never thought I would cross that off in Idaho....but I for sure can. This was a a huge beautiful waterfall. I literally felt like I was in South America and not in Idaho. I was nervous, but it was such a fun adventure.
Then it was off to BIG JUDSS for dinner....BIG JUDSS is known for their huge burgers here. I could only eat a quarter, but it was good.
Then Justin and I went over to another couples house to hang out.
It was so much fun, and such a great busy, fun day!

Also, for our anniversary, Justin surprised me with the watch I have been wanting for a while now! Justin is obsessed with nice watches, and I have never owned a super nice watch before. We agreed we weren't going to give each other gifts because our trip was our gift, but of course Justin spoiled me again! He is always surprising me with things like this! I love my watch and wear it all the time now!

M.I.A

Sorry, we've been M.I.A.

We've been a few places, and I'm not going to lie, I wish I wasn't back yet. Life has been good to us. We have been so busy, and I feel like I hardly took pictures of all we have been up to.

So here is a little recap of the past month of our lives...

UTAH:

there for about 5 days, celebrated with Lindsey and Lelands Wedding.

It was beautiful, and she was stunnning!

We are so happy for them!

Next Stop:

TEXAS!

Justin stayed behind, while i made a 10 day trip home to the Lone Star State.

I didn't take to many pics, because most of the time I was working, which was nice.

I got to see all my nieces and nephews and my very prego sis. And also met a future Peterson :)

It was so wonderful to be with my family!

We got the special V.I.P tour of the University of Texas Football offices from my bro...he's got connections since he coaches there! It was a blast....The UT players get treated like kings.

But then again, i wouldn't think less, because we know everything is BIGGER and BETTER in TEXAS!

Last Stop: ANNIVERSARY IN CALIFORNIA!

I met Justin In Cali for some fun in the SUN!

We stayed in a suit at the Hilton Resort! It was amazing!

I felt like I was on our honeymoon again.

Our room, with my sister and her friend Jen.

HAPPY ONE YEAR HUNNY!

We celebrated with dinner at downtown disney.....

then we went to DISNEYLAND and CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE!

Talk about magical, it was the perfect place for Justin and I to go.

It was so perfect and so much fun.

It really is the "HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!"

It was so magical, I'm not even lying when I say the hubs teared up 4 times! he was really feeling it!

We were like little kids, we wanted to try everything. We will for sure be taking our kids there one day.

Highlight: we got to meet with Justin's Grandma for Lunch!

I had never met Justin's Grandma, so this was so important! She is such a sweet lady and it was so great meeting her!

Cali was good to us, and we can't wait to go back.

The last 3 weeks went by soooo fast...

One day we were on the beach of Newport, and then a couple hours later we were back in ghost town of Rexburg, Id...

Vacation was great, and now it's time for school! I start my last semester of college, student teaching in a week. Justin and I are still living up the last bit of summer with a camping trip and date night to the drive in theatre here in Rexburg!

Our best friends left us yesterday to move to Utah.

I'm still mourning.

So before they left during helping them move,

We decided to have a little BBQ in our parking lot.

It was a lot of fun, and made me just think about how lucky we've been to have such good friends.

Now the semester is over, and all the students are gone for the 7 week break.

Rexburg is a ghost town and I hate it.

I'm glad the semester is over, and am so ready to have a little bit of a summer.

Last night Justin and I ate at Texas Road House for the first time ever.

It was sooooooo amazing!

Justin and I felt right at home,

And it made us miss Texas reallll bad.

Were headed to Utah in a few days,

I'm going to Texas,

Then our one year at Disneyland.

Bring on Summer!

tired of this.

im really sick. 8 hours in the e.r. for stomach pain on Monday and they couldn't find anything. I had an ultra sound, and a cat scan. I can't keep anything down, throwing up, weak, dizzy and the whole nine yards. I feel like I'm in labor, but this is worse because in labor you get a baby at the end, and it only last a few hours, not a few days. I'm so over this. Justin has been a champ. Poor guy has so much homework and hasn't gotten much sleep because of me being up all night. I'll explain more later....no energy to type.

peace-

project almost complete.

So I started a project to fix up our bedroom with a little more color. I've always wanted to have an upholstered headboard. And I have been tempted to try to make one, but didn't know if I could do it. So, it all started with this sign that I bought from my friend who is moving. This sign then made for a few projects...a headboard, painting, some pillows....yadda yadda, some fun shopping.Everything isn't done yet, I still have to hang the picture frame and move a few things around, but here is the headboard! It was so easy and I am a little bit obsessed with it!

The texture of the fabric is awesome. I also bought these blue pillows that matched and even have a little bit of damask on themThen I saw this at TJ MAX for like $6! I had to get it!

I still have a few more touches to add, but I love it so far! Thanks to my friend Liz who helped me pick everything out, shes amazing at decorating!
I think it turned out great! I'm so happy with it!

10 month date.

Today marks 10 months of marriage for the MARSHALLS!

So Justin and I took advantage of our day off and the beautiful weather and made a memory!

We Went to the ZOO!I love the zoo, probably because I never went much as a kid. It was so fun!

Zebra! My fave animal, and they had a baby that was only 4 days old! Precious!

We felt like kids! Justin and I can't wait to take our kids to the zoo!
We then tried a new place for dinner called Snake Bite! It was soooo dang good.

We did some shopping.

Got some materials for the headboard i'm making.

And came home to snuggle up to a movie.

It was a great day!

These last 10 months have been amazing.
I have an amazing patient husband,

and a very blessed life.

get me out of the office and into the sun.

So this past week, I started a new job because my job at the middle school ended because school is out for summer. I was really sad because I loved my boss, loved my hours, loved the kids, and loved getting paid to play dodge ball and go bowling. It was a dream. Finding a job for two months right away in Rexburg is almost impossible. But Justin's boss knows a lot of people and hooked me up with a secretary job for a landscaping company. I am so blessed to have a job right away. The job deff isn't easy, and sometimes I feel way over my head, and don't know if I can make it for 2 months, even though that is nothing....but we really need the money and I am grateful to have this job for a short time.
But Friday, since I was locked up in the office inside all day, right when 4:30 hit, Justin and I headed for the park for a date! We bought a Styrofoam airplane, because Justin grew up playing with them....
Well it was a complete flop and would go up in the air for 2 seconds and head straight to the ground. But it was still fun!
By about 20 minutes later, the plane was done. But...we found two little kids and gave them our plane to play with. They were on cloud nine!

It was just fun being at the park with my man. We then went to dinner and rented a redbox-Tangled. It was Justin's first time seeing it and he loved it....Tangled led us to decide where we are going on our one year anniversary trip...=) more details later.
